The Mob Stars – Aboriginal Cultural Extravaganza is an immersive cultural event that showcases the rich heritage and traditions of Australia’s Indigenous communities. Guests can expect to experience authentic Aboriginal music, dance, art, and storytelling throughout the day.
What are the hours for the event?
The Mob Stars – Aboriginal Cultural Extravaganza will run from 5pm-8pm on a date to be confirmed in May 2026.
Is there parking available on-site?
Yes, there is ample parking available on-site for all guests attending the Mob Stars – Aboriginal Cultural Extravaganza. Parking is accessed from Creek Reserve Road or Park Road in Speers Point
Will Elders be looked after?
Yes, we will have a dedicated drop-off section for Elders and a marquee with refreshments and light snacks.
Will there be seating?
Yes, there will be 200 seats placed in front of the stage. You can also bring your own camp chair/picnic blanket.
Will there be food available?
Yes, there will be food trucks on-site at the performance venue.
Who can apply to perform?
Aboriginal Students from Year Three to Year Twelve from the Lake Macquarie and Hunter Region

What happens if it rains?
We have a wet weather contingency which involves rescheduling the event to the following Saturday

How much are the tickets?
The event is free. There is no charge for tickets.
